Like "Green Corn", this song was one of the first in Huddie's repertoire. The version that is transcribed here is different from other versions that he recorded. On the Musicraft sessions, he recorded the song using open tuning and playing an accompaniment on the guitar that is very similar to the "Spanish Fandango". Bert Jansch transcribed that version.

This version sound more like a fiddle tune to me. Even the fingering for the guitar feels more like a fiddle player's style. This song is a little more difficult to play than it might seem.
